It’s no secret that I’ve long been passionate (and vocal) about the importance of recruitment and retention of top talent. Apart from running my own consulting practice, I came to Omnia with 24 years of service with Wachovia Insurance Services and predecessor companies Davis Baldwin Insurance and Davis Brothers Insurance. During my 7 years running the Florida Region once we’d been acquired by Wachovia, we grew sales by 240 percent and margin by 491 percent with 100 percent client retention during two acquisitions. During that same period, we grew our offices from two to seven and the employee count from 110 to 200. I truly believe the differentiator and driver of these results were the people and the culture we created and nurtured. In fact, I started using Omnia Profiles while I was with Davis Baldwin and Davis Brothers, way back in the mid to late 1980’s. Talk about coming full circle!
