Ridiculously Great Sales Ninja (aka: Sales Consultant)

Posted:  2-17-2012

Do you have a winning track record?  Are you intensely competitive, persistent, and driven by an internal need for greater authority and responsibility?  Do you see business opportunities others miss. Can you charm gatekeepers, impress CEO’s, and immediately earn their confidence!  If so….we want to talk to you!

SUMMARY: The Omnia Group, leader in behavioral assessments, is seeking a ridiculously great salesperson. We need drive, energy, motivation, a proven track record. Really, you have to be an independent sales expert. A true sales warrior has unlimited earning potential. This position involves professional business-to-business sales of employee selection and management tools to the executive level.

Base salary, strong commission opportunity and other benefits. South Tampa office, travel required.

We are an aggressive, performance-oriented company. A background in or knowledge of behavioral tools, industrial psychology or psychometrics a giant plus.

We have fun, but get the job done.

Here are the top 10 reasons NOT to apply for this sales opportunity:

  1. You cannot develop a thorough understanding of all Omnia products, including written and verbal interpretation of the Omnia Profile. The best behavioral assessment on the planet.
  2. Your idea of producing new and renewal customer business is to meet revenue goals. We don’t meet goals here, we BEAT them.
  3. You are like 90% of people out there who say public speaking is their biggest fear. This job requires wowing at trade shows, speaking engagements, seminars and workshops
  4. Pre-call strategy and advance preparation happens as you are dialing the phone.
  5. You think closing techniques are different ways of shutting doors.
  6. You are not sure what answering objections and getting to an agreement even means.
  7. Your idea of maintaining records of all prospect and account activity is to save the napkins you wrote your notes on over lunch. (It might be boring, but record-keeping is necessary!)
  8. You’ve never prepared a sales report, such as sales forecasts, itineraries, daily call reports and account history.
  9. Budget and expense control are not in your vocabulary. (Lets face it, if you cost more than you bring in, there’s a problem.)
  10. Sales scares you.
